Interactive Fish Pond 'Rapport'

*Exhibition, NewYork University *Collaboration with Amy Chien

RAPPORT is an urban program intended to serve as an ice breaker. It is designed to inject urban interaction onto our common path of commute. It is meant to transform a transfer space, such as pedestrian sidewalk, subway and elevator into moment for interactions. RAPPORT is not an attraction or destination. RAPPORT is merely a sidewalk. For people who are welling to slow down. RAPPORT can spice up your day. When two people discover this program together, a mutual bonding will be formed.
How it works? When someone approached to the RAPPORT and put your hand into the pond, fishes will come and follow your hand. This was made possible by program called C++ and camera detecting technique.
